has come to YouTube. It’s the newly renamed channel from Barks Communications President Ed Barks. The revamped outlet is intended to benefit communications and government relations executives who advise their C-suite leaders.

Why the name change? According to Barks, “Communications strategy is the cornerstone of my consultancy, so it makes sense to refocus the YouTube presence,” formerly known as Media Training TV.

“Media training remains a core service offering since it is an integral part of any well-thought-out communications strategy,” he continued. “Yet strategy involves so much more than training — it means message development, communications planning, guidance on how to counsel the C-suite, and more.”

Barks has also added three new videos to the existing library:

  • How to Speak Truth to Your C-suite, encouraging communications and government relations executives to muster the courage to lay the cards on the table for their C-suite leaders.
  • Shaping Your Communications Strategy, which Barks argues is essential to the success of a company’s communications and public policy efforts.
  • Communications Community, an invitation to Barks’ e-newsletter of the same name. the publication offers advice on how to champion a company’s communications strategy, deal with the media, deliver winning presentations, and advocate before policymakers.

The first two videos are based on Chapters One and Two of Barks’ new book, A+ Strategies for C-Suite Communications: Turing Today’s Leaders into Tomorrow’s Influencers.

The entire library of Communications Strategy TV is available at . The lineup features such topics as reputational risk, developing a magnetic message, the Three Keys to Great Presentations, and more.

Ed Barks works with communications and government relations executives who counsel their C-suite leaders, and with businesses and associations that need their messaging to deliver bottom line results. They gain an enhanced reputation, more opportunities for career advancement, and achievement of long-term business goals. He is the author of A+ Strategies for C-Suite Communications: Turning Today’s Leaders into Tomorrow’s Influencers and The Truth About Public Speaking: The Three Keys to Great Presentations.
