Ed Barks and his recently published book, A+ Strategies for C-Suite Communications: Turning Today’s Leaders into Tomorrow’s Influencers, will be featured at the 42nd Annual National Press Club Book Fair and Authors’ Night on Friday, November 1.
The signature event is open to the public and features approximately 100 authors. The evening attracts hundreds of book lovers who stock their personal and office libraries and buy holiday gifts. Barks will inscribe copies of A+ Strategies for C-Suite Communications purchased at the event.
The fair takes place in the National Press Club Ballroom from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The club is located at 14 & F Streets, NW, 13th floor, in Washington, D.C.
“The National Press Club Book Fair is the premier place for book lovers to do their one-stop holiday shopping” added the author and communications strategy consultant.
“Do you need that political read for your spouse? Done. How about a book on business strategy for that hotshot business executive? You got it. A cookbook for the chef in your family? No problem,” he advised.
One of the highlights of the Book Fair is the ability for readers to chat with the authors while purchasing an autographed copy of their latest books.
“I look forward to welcoming friends old and new to the National Press Club Book Fair on November 1,” he added. “Be sure to stop by and say hello.”
Among those offering plaudits for Barks’ book is former White House Press Secretary Mike McCurry: “In this nifty and fabulous volume, Ed Barks gives the corporate communicator tons of good advice on how to get that important ‘seat at the table’ and how to use it when there.”
